About
Cliques
In 'real life', a clique can be defined as a group of persons united by common interests, members of which support each other and shut out others from their company. Online, a clique is a list of people who have a common interest, support something, believe in something, have something in common...For example, there are anti-[subject] cliques, cliques for people with green/brown/blue/red/yellow eyes...This fanlisting is dedicated to all the cliques on the net. Anyone can join, no matter what kind of cliques you like.
Fanlistings
A fanlisting is a list of people who are fans of a certain person, object, movie, tv show, book...You can learn more (and join more) at The Fanlisting Network.
Questions & Answers
What Do I Need In Order To Become A Member?
The only requirements in order to join are to submit your name and country. To prevent people from joining several times and to ease communication with members, I also ask for your email address. This will not be shown on the members list if you wish it to be kept hidden.
There is no payment, no obligation to read magazines and no need to keep in touch with other members or with me, the owner.
Do You Have A Privacy Policy/Terms of Use, etc.?
While I do not have a strict privacy policy, I still engage myself to follow a certain set of rules:
- The only information provided about members is the one listed on the members list: names (first name only), email address and country.
- Members will not be emailed by me unless the site moves or there is a specific problem that needs to be addressed. The latter hasn't happened to me in five years of owning fanlistings.
- Pending members who are obviously spam will be deleted immediately.
What Is Considered A Spam Member?
Spam members will be identified by a few characteristics:
- Random characters are entered instead of an actual name. While it can be hard to tell the difference when I don't speak every language of the earth, I expect things like "tqytrstq" to not be a name.
- Spam links (e.g. pornography, phishing sites, online gambling, etc.) can be found in the URL or comments field.
I Have Not Asked To Be A Member!
If you find yourself on the list while you do not remember joining or are certain you have not, the first (and, well, only...) step is to send an update form, while specifying that you wish to be deleted. Just enter your current information and specify your request in the comments field. You can also do it from the contact form.
I Want To Hide My Email Address "Completely"
If, for some reason, you find that hiding your email address from the list is not enough and wish to keep it entirely hidden from view, then you can always use a fake email address and explain in the comments field. In order for this to work, you must use the usual email address format: username@domain.com.
I Wish To Be Deleted
To be deleted, simpy fill a normal update form and state your request in the comments field. You can do the same with the contact form instead.
I Have a Problem With "X"
Should you have any problem with the topic of this fanlisting (?), any requests, questions, etc., you can easily contact me. If, for some reason, the form doesn't work, you can use my email address: julydesiles @ yahoo.fr (no spaces, of course).
